God is Awesome

We know our God is an awesome God. I have to tell you the truth that God has been really faithful in my life. Since I was save, I never turn back again even though there are many comments around. It is not just about cool to be Christian (althogh it is...) but something inside us that only God can fill us.

As you know, I am accountant and as well as servicing in church. I have time for bible college study as well. Yup! I enrolled myself to bible college last February. It is a shocking, but I guess it is a calling from God. I remember for the last 3 months before February, I told Aaron that I want to study and get higher certificate. From CA, CPA, to Master of Accounting... I search them all and I thinking no way I will do that... part because I am not "study" kind of person. If I did, I know I will really stress out myself to get high mark. Than, bible college come through my mind. As you can see, it was the last resource that I ever look through.

Yah... the last resource. and until today, i still can't believe that I enrolled in Bible College. Online study actaully gave lots of flexiblility but need lots of discipline. On the 1 March, me and Aaron finally hand in our name and straight deducted $700 from my credit card... yah it that expensive.

I really Trust in God for what He called me to do. I really pray that I will not stress from this study because I love the subject, it was not suppose to stress to things that you like to do...

After couple of weeks... now, I already hand in one assignment and another coming up soon in three weeks, I can tell you the different studying in bible college and studying in university.

First of all, you have to understand that I not even like accounts (although I am accountant now, I still don't like it and I know who I was with me to carry these through when I was at University). Study in bible college is so different, first you study something that you like which is bible, 2nd - bible college is not testing your knownledge about bible, but to gain knowledge. This is what a lot of people confuse included me. I alway thought that I need high understanding of bible knownledge in order to go bible college, but it was wrong... wrong and wrong. If you have high understand of bible, so why should I go for bible college again? that why bible college are for us to studt the word of God.

The word of God... yup... there are so many thing to learn. It is not studying about history, but to learn what God promises as we are the decendant of Adam and Eve.
