Friday
Friday finally here. All the hard work will be finishing soon. Festival of Colour just tomorrow, my dance already nearly done by tonight. The decoration used to be a big headache for me, but now it already settle, everything is just went well. Thank God for that.
I have a back pain these few weeks... I dunno what should I do now. I think will be ask my landlord to provide me a new bed, coz my current bed is so springgy.... you know what I mean. Then my office chair... haaa..... another problem... I can sit staright as the back support actually to far back... that will be topic to discuss with my director soon.
Storm is on the way, yup! It too hot now and is everyone's wish to have heavy rain at this period. Bush fire slowly howling from far and already few house burnt down this week. Pray that God will protect the people.

Friends are God's way taking care of us. Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much. The most wasted of all days is that on which one has not laughed . We are called to serve and not to be served. Life is too short to know what will happen tomorrow. Accept others blessing means simply keep the blessing flow. Count your blessing, but not problems. Shut our ears, close our eyes, watch out what see and hear; guide our tongue, only speak out word of courage.

Festival of Colours
1 Nov just this Saturday. Me and Melissa has been trying to thinking of something special or the decoration in the church. Yah, we want something different as always do! Past 2 weeks, we have been thinking of how the opening ceremony will be like. We want something that is so spectacular. We want something that it will leave a deep impact to outsider that we are not that kind of boring group of people.
Yah! Flying cloth. As some of them knows what is that. We want the deco only visible during the open ceremony. Both of us have been thinking deep of how it works that the mechanism behind this theory. Belief me or not that this involve of calculation, gravity theory, draft drawing...
Finally on Monday afternoon, when I have my lunch at work. I have this ideal of how the cloth being hidden and visible during the opening ceremony.
Yesterday, I have chance to experiment my ideal, and guess what! Its works... Ha! Ha! Ha! Although my head is bigger then usual, finally it's speak itself. God won't give me something without His purpose... Ha! Ha! Ha!

Monday
Is Monday always the lazier day of the week? I felt weak?
Partly because I have back pain, I don't know why but from my guessing, it would be the chair that I sat at my office. I don't think it has a good support on my back and because of that, it created such pain and so uncomfortable. I should request a new chair for me. I don't mind to have small chair, as long as it support my back, I would be happy.
First, I visited bank and can't believe that the queue were so long until outside of the bank. Then... post office as well, total time spent = 1 hour for banking and at post office. What a day?
7pm at home, already finish cooking and ready for dancing practice. We had a great time and also finally we have all moves. Unfortunately, I have to do something that I never do in my life... is mime out the song and act the moves of the movie Grease. Oohh dear... I need some groovy moves and .... AM I LOOK LIKE A GROOVY PERSON?
Yah... hope that I have sometime to work out the moves before Wednesday...

Convertible
I had the best weekend yesterday. It all began with 2 weeks ago. One of my friend was seeking my advise, what can she do something that never did before for a weekend. Something that you can totally forgotten about your normal life. Basically just get away from our daily busy life. Well, I have been thinking…
Yup! Last Saturday, 9am, I picked up my one day owed Holden Astra convertible, 4 seater. Came back and quickly we made sandwiches for lunch later at the trip. 2 of my housemate and one of my dear friend, we headed to coast with our convertible. It is just such a different feeling driving that car. Have you ever drive car without roof on? It just like dream came through.
We learn so much on that trip… we now understand with those 60’s, the ladies have to put on scarf when they drove on their car (most of the car were convertible type at that time), so that their hair won’t be mess up y the wind that blow in all direction. One thing that “must wear” item is sunglasses. I can’t drive without sunglasses because the sun just shine directly on you and I don’t feel comfortable anyway.
We were excited just the way how the roof being folded and kept nicely in the compartment. We were fascinated with the car structure, the leather seats, the computerise system in the car…
We spent about 2 hours at Byron bay, then another hour and a half at beach. When we ready heading off to Gold Coast for dinner… the sun already setting and it just a prefect time to drive out newly toy. Cold breeze and just unbelievable.
The worse thing that happen… it rained on and off through out the night. So can you imagine that we put on and off the roof? Ha! That the way man! Then at my favourite restaurant at Gold Coast – BoonChu Thai food, we had our tomyum, ahhh!!! Even now, I still can taste the delicious hot spicy sour soup. Yumm…!
When we on our way home, we had very interesting conversation with Andrew. Hmm… want to know what is that? Ask him!

Its Wednesday
Wednesday always good. I like Wednesday, partly because I am paying myself for my salary, but also half way to weekend. Wednesday always went so fast because whole day I will just busy do all the payment documents. I love Wednesday!
You ever keep thinking something until even dream also dreaming about what you think? Well, it sound really deep huh! Let me explain! Me and my friend were just trying out the decoration for the festival of colour. Yah! Until today, none of our theory and mechanism that work well according to plan that had made early. Yup! I want a grand open ceremony! I want these cloth will only drop down from ceiling during the opening. Me and my friend already squeeze dryly our brain but still just can’t work “smoothly”. We still have the last options and I really hope that this coming experiment on Sunday will be good.

Dance all night
1 Nov 2003 was the day that my church has plan for out reach to international community. Yup! It's a day where you can find lots of foods, dances, drama and costume. It is a day which you can meet lots of people from every nation.
I wasn't really involve in this Festival of Colour thing. But somehow....
Its starts here... our dance co-ordinator, Serene, she was struggle finding her dancers. Everyone who was in her list eventually drop off. I dunno whether it the dance that too hard until drop off or just study. Anyway, she lend my house for practice yesterday. Just 4 girls and 1 guys. I was cooking my dinner and also partly giving them ideal and suggestion. Not that I know a lot, but just brainstorming what we can do on the dance. It just un-even number of dancers...
I know I have nothing to do on that day. I know that I shouldn't be involve myself too much, but... somehow I just agree that I will help them to even up the number of dancers. Yah... now we have 2 guys and 4 girls.
The step is easy, but it's not nice if don't shake as much as required. I don't dance as frequent as they do, of course I always miss the steps. But the really sad thing happen...!!! I have comment from people who spectator said that "You dance like a girl!" that really hurt.
I found it really discouraging me. I could just drop off like others, but I know I doing this for who I serve, but not for he who give comments to discourage me. I needs His strength to do this and wisdom to dance.
Watch out for who I am, brother!

…
I haven't got any ideal what to name for the title. Yesterday was my team on duty for the Sunday service. Yah, one thing I really like about leading the deacons team for Sunday service is we have opportunity to serve. I always has this impression that when we first step into the church, the usher has this big smile in their face, I can feel that I am welcome. It is hard to have a big smile on face when you are on duty early in the morning. But nothing is impossible!
I remember when I serve as volunteer in Hillsong Conference, average we have good sleep everyday about 4 hours. We wake up 5am and be on site at 7am. Through out the 5 days, we all have our smile on our face every morning. I am surprise that it really work and refreshing the participant every morning. There are many delegate came to us and ask us do we have a good sleep? We do, 4 hour per day plus God grace… that will make a good smile on our face.
That what I really like about serving at frontline for Sunday service. My team is the only team that we have dress code. We have spring wear, all black, summer costume… its always different every month.
Anyway, at the end of the day, what we want is creating an imagine to community that church is not something about religion or the joy in stillness… but the church is a place where we worship God and we celebrate the joy of living.
